NowGamer
Imagine Publishing is one of the UK’s fastest-growing consumer specialist magazine publishers, with over 20 print magazines published worldwide within the entertainment, computing, digital photography and videogames market sectors.
Evolving has launched its first project with Imagine: NowGamer. The site is a new multi-format videogames website, providing users with thousands of pages of content.
Objectives
- Drive advertising revenue by maximising page views
- Allow users to customise content to suit their needs
The site can be customised by its users, allowing them to choose colour themes, move components around on the homepage, and control the number of stories being displayed at any one time. It will also allow visitors to filter content by format, so they can, for instance, choose to view articles relating to PS3 but not Xbox 360.
With a wealth of previews, reviews and news, supplemented by video and imagery, the NowGamer site is rapidly expanding. Article commenting and busy forums allow users to generate their own content on the site, helping to accelerate the growth and boost Search Engine rankings.
Built on Evolving’s publishing system, NowGamer is integrated with PriceGrabber and the Atlas advertising platform. A powerful administration suite sits behind the portal, allowing the Imagine team to push content quickly and efficiently.
