Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts. Between 2008 and 2011 it will look to invest in excess of £1.6 billion of public money from the government and the National Lottery.
Since 2007 Evolving has been working with the Arts Council, supporting the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize competition. The prize is awarded annually to a living author and translator for the best work of contemporary fiction in translation, published in England over the past year.
Evolving was asked to support the event with associated collateral.
We developed a series of components, including invitations, programmes for the event, and stickers that promoted books on-shelf in major bookstores.
The event gained national press coverage for the second year running, with our in store promotions driving book sales for the featured writers.
